Pathom designed and built Celebrity Spotlight as a showcase site, demonstrating feed integration, design, and search engine optimisation techniques. In less than 2 weeks, Celebrity Spotlight was receiving in excess of 10,000 page impressions a day, and generating a steady advertising revenue.
The site integrates 3 data feeds - a showbiz feed, a bizarre news feed, and a TV news feed. The showbiz feed is scanned automatically, and associated with one or more celebrities, and their profiles.
